The Centre for Sustainability is amalgamating with the Centre for Non Profit Management.

By uniting forces we plan to significantly expand the reach and impact of capacity building initiatives across the province.

Our strategic consolidation envisions a non profit sector that is well led, well managed and well governed for the benefit of all British Columbians.

Our new Centre’s purpose is to broker and coordinate resources on a province wide basis. It will be a shared services organization providing all aspects of capacity building support through partnerships with government, post-secondary institutions, funders and other non profit organizations.

By consolidating existing programs and pooling resources, we will offer a multi-faceted portal to identify, coordinate and address the sector’s capacity building requirements.

The new Centre will act as a platform for public policy dialogue related to capacity. It will convene cross sectoral discussions and develop networks to tackle issues in this traditionally siloed sector.

As a unified operation and voice with a decentralized regional delivery network, the Centre will have the ability to engage a variety of partners towards the common goal of advancing the sustainability of the sector in a measurable way.
